Generate Google Ads Report
This documentation outlines the steps to generate a report from your Google Ads account, enabling us to validate your Google Ads data against the data on your Pulse dashboard.
You need to generate and share the following reports:
- Campaign
- Search Keyword
Steps to follow
Campaign Report
1. Go to "ads.google.com" and Sign in.
2. In the left-hand section, click on the "Campaigns" then click on "Insights and Reports" dropdown and select "Report editor".
3. Click “Create report.”
4. Configure the Campaign Report by searching and selecting the fields given below.
- Ensure "Campaign" is added to the row fields.
- Ensure the following fields are added to as column:
- Cost
- Conv. value
- Clicks
- Impr.
- Conversions
5. Select the desired date range.
6. Download the report as CSV.
Search Keyword Report
Once Campaign Report is generated, now you can generate the Keyword Report.
7. Left click on campaign and delete it.
8. Search for “Search Keyword” and add it in the rows field.
9. Select the desired date range.
10. Download the report as CSV.
