Prerequisites
1. DSP APIs work for 'Agency' type users. Seller accounts and Attribution accounts will not have access to DSP APIs.
2. User account used for authentication must have 'Entity Administrator' permissions for DSP.
Setting up the integration
1. Sign in to Daton.
2. Select Amazon DSP from the list of sources in the connectors tab.
3. Provide all required configuration parameters:
- Integration Name
- Replication Start Date
- Region/Marketplace
- Attribution Days/Lookback Until
Note:
- Replication Frequency is fixed to 24 hours and cannot be changed.
- DSP APIs provides the last 95 days history.
4. You will be redirected to the Amazon Advertising login page to authorize Daton for periodic data extraction. Log in using your seller account.
6. Next, you will be prompted to select from the list of available Advertiser IDs.
7. Choose the Tables/APIs for replication.
8. Then select required fields for each table.
9. Submit the integration.
Limitations
- Integration Name will be used to create the integration tables and cannot be modified later.
- You can only select 1 Profile for an Integration
- You can only select up to 100 Advertiser IDs for an Integration
- Replication frequency is fixed and set to 24 hours. It cannot be changed.
- DSP APIs can only provide the last 95 days of history, irrespective of whatever history you select during the integration creation.
General Notes
- Integrations would begin in the Pending state and change to the Active state once the first job successfully loaded data into the configured warehouse.
- Users can check job status and process logs from the integration details page by clicking on the integration name in the active list.
- Users can Re-Authenticate, Edit, Clone, Pause, or Delete the integration at any moment by clicking on settings. You can also adjust the frequency and history of the integration.
- On the Sources page, click Integration to access each table in your integration. The page also shows the state of each table, the last replicated time, and the Reload access buttons.
Known Issues
- Data of some fields are distributed among two columns. For example - purchases and purchases_in. Consolidate the values of both the columns to get the correct value.
- There can be mismatches of <1% in metrics even with 30-day attribution selection in Daton
- Data would always be fetched for the previous day after 2 AM Seller time.
- Tables are named with a region suffix. For example – CampaignReport_NA. Here, NA represents North America region.
